A blog on Islamic Cartography

I just started a new blog on Islamic Cartography, which will be an outlet of my work towards completing my dissertation ("The dpiction of the Mediterranean in late Islamic cartography: from the 13th to the 16th century".). The first posts were about the importance of compiling a bibliography, a glimpse on such bibliography, and some digital resources. The feedback from the Map-Hist discussion group was very encouraging. There is even a prospect of publication in a major online cartography journal.
